A proud and special moment for our team at Gentle Endodontics! 🎉

Four of our endodontists have received the Award of Appreciation from the Australian Dental Association in recognition of their outstanding contributions to dental education and service to the profession.

A special acknowledgement to Dr Mehdi Rahimi, who has served on the Education and Research Committee since 2010 and has helped run highly successful continuing professional development courses at the Australian Dental Association NSW Centre for Professional Development since 2009.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate their dedication to teaching, mentoring, and advancing the profession. 👏✨

Not only were we celebrating Dr Muna’s birthday, but also recognising nearly 14 years of her journey in and out of Australia. Whenever she has been in Australia, she has worked with the Gentle Endodontics family and remains one of our most integral, loyal, and valued members.

This year, it was extra special to celebrate her birthday alongside the University of Sydney Endodontic post-graduate students.

It has been a long time since we’ve seen nine Endo post-graduates together in one cohort (minus Dr Michael Tran in the photos!). In fact, this is the largest group I’ve come across since 2006, when I started my training in Melbourne - when we also had nine students across the program.

A wonderful evening celebrating education, mentorship, and the future of endodontics - made even more special marking Dr Muna’s birthday with the next generation of endodontic specialists.

We’re excited to present at the Endodontics Workshop at the SIM Clinic, hosted by the ADA on 28 February 2026.

This hands-on course gives general dentists a clear, step-by-step approach to contemporary endodontics - from diagnosis and case selection to safe canal negotiation, instrumentation, obturation and managing procedural errors.

Workshop highlights:
• Treating curved and calcified canals
• Locating the notorious MB2 canal
• Hands-on practice on specially designed plastic teeth and natural upper molars
