We love celebrating our patients’ successes — especially when they involve award-winning jam! 🍓🏆

During their routine check-up and clean, our long-time patients Barbara and David shared the exciting news that they had won Best Jam and Quince Paste at the Sydney Royal Easter Show!

That inspired a good old-fashioned barter between Barbara and Dr Jason — Barbara traded her prize-winning jam for Dr Jason’s farm-fresh eggs from his chickens and ducks 🥚🦆🐓

The story gets even sweeter… the duck eggs were later used in Barbara’s lemon curd, which went on to win at the Hawkesbury Show! 🥇✨

Here’s what’s actually happening 👇
Inside your teeth are tiny channels (called tubules) that connect to the nerve.

When enamel wears down or gums recede, those channels become exposed—so cold hits the nerve FAST.
