Dr David is our resident CFO - the Chief Fun Officer! Dr David is engaging, friendly and loves a good chat; Dr David has a wealth of knowledge in comprehensive dentistry and is extremely gentle and caring. Dr David has a way with kid’s dental health especially the nervous ones (including adults!). In addition to private practice, Dr David has spent his time contributing to teaching the next generation of dentists at Griffith University Dental School.

When not at work, you’ll find David supporting his favourite footy team, The Brisbane Broncos; if you’re lucky you might find him in his Broncos Scrubs on a Friday before game night!

Dr Nick is our calm, collected and gentle-natured dentist who loves treating patients from all walks of life. Dr Nick, as a father of five, is very well-versed when it comes to kid’s dental, although his passion also lies in Cosmetic and Rehabilitative Dentistry - where rebuilding a smile is Dr Nick’s expertise. Dr Nick is also our in-house provider of Invisalign®️ and has had years of training and experience to design an excellent smile.

Dr Nick was also a proud owner of a dental practice on the Gold Coast for many years, however has found a tree-change with us at Canungra Dental.

Dr Bernie is our Principal Dentist at Canungra Dental. Bernie loves learning and has spent numerous years of additional training and further education in the dental industry to focus on his special interest area of Rehabilitation Oral Surgery (including Wisdom Teeth removal) and Dental Implantology.

Dr Bernie is a proud provider of the All-On-4®️ treatment concept, as part of his skillset to rebuild a patient’s smile. He has also practiced in a wide range of communities from Inner City Suburbs to regional towns all around Queensland, gaining invaluable experience to his repertoire.

In his spare time, Dr Bernie loves to enjoy his time cycling, keeping fit at the gym and spending time with friends and family.

🦷 What inspired you to become a dentist?
“Coming from a dental technician background, I started to wonder what it would be like to treat patients directly from the chairside rather than from the dental lab. Safe to say it’s much more fun on the other side!”

💙 What do you hope every patient feels when they leave your chair?
“I hope every patient feels this is a place where they are welcome and can feel safe visiting, rather than somewhere they feel anxious about or avoid. If my patients leave feeling that way, I know they’ve found a dentist they can trust. 😊”

🏃‍♀️ What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
“I’ve recently been enjoying the outdoors through morning runs and camping! When I can’t easily get outside, I love sitting back and watching a good horror film. 👻”
