Meet the Dentists: Dr. Lisa Wang

Dr Lisa Wang graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (first-class honours) from the University of Sydney in 2008. Although she enjoyed patient care in pharmacy, she preferred to do something more hands-on. So, she completed a Bachelor of Dentistry at the University of Sydney in 2014. Lisa was awarded the John Stephen Hill Memorial Prize for proficiency in Clinical Restorative Dentistry.​

Dr. Lisa Wang joined the practice in 2015, bringing a healthy dose of youthful exuberance. Lisa enjoys all aspects of dentistry, especially pain-free dentistry with a preventative focus, and treating children. She has the same keen, genuine, and gentle manner that we all share and continuously strive to achieve at Dental Excellence. Dr. Sarah Hu is a qualified dental professional, holding a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Diploma in Orthodontics from the City of London Dental School. Originally from Sydney, Dr. Sarah completed her secondary education at Pymble Ladies’ College and her undergraduate studies at the University of New South Wales before relocating to Melbourne to pursue her dental career.

With a dedication to continuing education, Dr. Sarah embarked on a three-year postgraduate residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics at the esteemed City of London Dental School. Currently, she is furthering her expertise with a two-year postgraduate residency specializing in Clear Aligner Therapy.

Dr. Sarah possesses a wealth of knowledge and expertise in orthodontics, orthopaedics, and early interceptive treatment. She is certified in various clear aligner systems, including Invisalign, Spark, and Angelalign, as well as proficient in working with Damon self-ligating brackets.

In addition to her clinical skills, Dr. Sarah is fluent in Mandarin, allowing her to effectively communicate with a diverse patient population. Dr William Hong completed the Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Melbourne, having completed the Bachelor of Biomedicine, also at the University of Melbourne. He is a passionate dentist who attends a lot of continuing professional development programs in order to keep up to date with modern techniques and maintain optimal patient care.

He offers a range of services including implants, endodontics, restorative, cosmetic, full mouth rehabilitation, periodontics, and crown and bridge.

He is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), and the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry (ASID), and a member of the Australian Dental Association. Dr Angel Dang graduated from the University of Sydney with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). After completing a Bachelor of Science from the University of Queensland. Originally from sunny Brisbane, Dr Angel moved down the coast to pursue her dental career and provide exceptional care to her patients.

Dr Angel knows how nerve-wracking dental visits can be, so she strives to ensure patients feel at ease. With an empathetic approach and gentle touch, she is passionate about educating patients on the importance of oral health and creating smiles her patients’ will be excited to show off! Outside of dentistry, Dr Angel likes to stay active by playing tennis and practicing pilates or experimenting in the kitchen.
