As another year comes to an end The team at Smiles On South would like to thank you for your continued support throughout 2017 and we look forward to what 2018 has in stall.

Big Changes to come in 2018!!! As we farewell one of our staff members Kathy who will be off having baby #3 We welcome our newest recruit Ann-Marie.

Our surgery will re-open on the 8th of January with shorter trading hours throughout the holiday month. Normal operating hours will commence as of 29th of January 2018.

Baby Bottle Caries is real and has been around for a long time.
They can be caused by the simplicity of leaving a bottle of milk/ formula in a child's mouth while they are asleep. YES YOU READ IT RIGHT.... MILK AND BABY FORMULA!

The bacteria within the mouth thrive off the sugars within the milk/ formula and with the salivary rate dropping to less then half while your child is asleep puts them at high risk of caries. For further causes and prevention please see article attached!

Another example of a very happy patient who was initially concerned about the appearance of her front teeth.
Here at Smiles On South we use cosmetic procedures to improve the aesthetics where a person may not be entirely happy with the way they look.
This also assists in providing better oral hygiene in the regions where previously food entrapment and excess plaque retention would have been a problem.

We are now CLOSED!!!! Dr Pahos & The Staff at ‘Smiles On South’ would like to wish everyone a Happy and safe Christmas break. We thank each and every one of you for your ongoing support throughout 2016 and we look forward to what 2017 has in stall.
