Smithfield Dental welcomes Dr Amanda

Dr. Amanda Jamil grew up in Cairns and is excited to return home to provide high-quality, patient-centred dental care to our community. After completing a Bachelor of Dental Surgery at James Cook University, she gained extensive experience working across regional Queensland and internationally in both public and private dental settings

Dr Amanda has further developed skills in restorative dentistry, crowns and bridges, root canal treatment, surgical extractions, and implant dentistry

Known for her gentle chair-side manner and clear communication, Dr. Amanda enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their smiles and oral health

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Amanda enjoys hiking and exploring all that nature has to offer, as well as painting in her spare time

Dr Amanda will be working closely with Dr Meglin and the Team in all advanced dental procedures, whilst maintaining the unwavering commitment to excellence in quality patient care that is synonymous with Smithfield Dental
