What is the difference between Temporary Teeth and Immediate Final Teeth™ and what are their purposes?

Temporary Teeth are provisional restorations made from a plastic material and are fitted approximately 3–4 hours after surgery. They are worn for 24 hours while your Immediate Final Teeth™ are being created.

Immediate Final Teeth™ are fitted 24 hours after surgery. They are typically made from acrylic but there are alternative material options available depending on individual preference and clinical requirements. These are more detailed, smooth and have the proper gum and tooth colour.
