Does the thought of sitting in the dental chair make you feel a little uneasy?

Maybe it's the sounds, the anticipation, or a not-so-great dental experience in the past. Whatever it is, we get that visiting the dentist isn't everyone's favourite way to spend an afternoon!

Did you know that happy gas (nitrous oxide) is an option at Beyond Dental Care?
It's a form of sedation that can help you feel more relaxed during dental treatment, while you're still awake and able to chat with your dentist.

And another bonus? Unlike some other forms of sedation, patients can generally drive themselves home afterwards, once they've recovered and their dentist has confirmed it's safe to do so.

It might be worth considering if you've been putting off an appointment because you're feeling anxious, or if certain dental procedures make you particularly nervous.

Happy gas isn't suitable for everyone, and there's an additional cost involved, but our team can explain how it works and help you decide whether it's an option for your appointment.

At Beyond Dental Care Burpengary, we allow a full 60 minutes for every New Patient Check-Up & Clean.

Why? Because your first visit should be about more than getting in, getting your teeth cleaned and heading straight back out the door.

We want time to get to know you, understand your dental history, thoroughly assess your oral health and give you the opportunity to ask questions without feeling rushed.

Your New Patient Check-Up & Clean includes:

✓ A review of your medical and dental history
✓ A comprehensive examination of your teeth and gums
✓ Any required dental X-rays
✓ An OPG (full-mouth X-ray)
✓ A professional scale and clean
✓ Time to discuss what we find and any recommended next steps

And if it’s been a while since you last visited a dentist, that’s okay too. There’s no judgement about where you’re starting from. We’ll simply help you understand where things are at and what comes next.
