Dr Hanno Venter Consultant Dentist Founded in 2012 by Dr Hanno Venter.

After practicing as a dentist for 5 years, Dr Hanno relocated in 2008 from Cape Town, South Africa to Bundaberg where he settled and has been living and working for the last 13 years. Dr Hanno had a dream of starting a dental practice that would be an extension of his personality, creating a unique dental experience where compassion, quality of care and value enjoy priority. Dr Hanno furthered his

studies in oral surgery and aesthetic dentistry, keeping up to date with new advances and techniques in these fields to confidently provide a wide variety of dental services tailored to the individual needs of his patients. Dr Hanno resonates with the personality of the strong, individualistic and mysterious moose, which he ended up choosing as the fulcrum of this new and exciting dental experience he has created.

This is what I love about wine. It speaks a language that transcends geographical and cultural boundaries. This little passion project of mine is making me so happy. It this photo, from Seattle is holding my fun little book 📕 Even though I can’t be there (for now) to tell my stories, this little book is talking for me. I love that! Listening to Sleep Token’s new song, Caramel, and I can’t help but think of this masterful musical paradox; smooth, easy-listening vocals with such a tender vibrato, performed by this hardcore metal band. Crazy riffs, drums from a different galaxy and occasional desperate screams from the vocalist, but this makes me so introspective. Perfection has always been an underlying theme in my life. Being autistic, it’s just part of my machinery. A drive so primal and overpowering, but then I also have these fragile insecurities and a sensitive soul. Growing up my parents didn’t know how to handle me. We grew up in a time where being different was a weakness. I couldn’t express myself around even my siblings, because my most basic stories were too long and not concise enough. I got so used to being dismissed, hearing over and over that what I had to say was not important enough. We all have our own intricacies and wiring issues, but take that extra few seconds to listen, to see and look. You don’t have to understand and wrap your head around someone. That’s the beauty of our world. Not everything should be able to fit in a pigeon hole. Enjoy and celebrate everthing that can’t be explained, or is tangible in the way your mind needs it to be

A little project of mine that started last year. I’m very proud of how this has come together. It’s about to be published by a little indie label. was my illustrator, and it was heaps of fun working with him on this project. I combined my love of writing with the knowledge and experience gained through my studies of wine through and . My inspiration was master sommelier who was so generous with his time, trying to teach this dentist all about wine and service on random days at , sometimes alongside who was so nervous that I would drop his beautiful glassware 😆 I will do a proper launch when it’s about to hit the shops and internet

I hosted a Wine Tasting Masterclass for fifty thirsty guests, at Beach House St Kilda on Friday evening, with the beautiful Melbourne skyline as our backdrop. The focus was on highlighting how terroir influences viticulture and vinification decisions, made by the winemaker, and how that translates into what we taste, all the way from the vineyard into our glass 🍷. I handpicked six wines from different regions and countries, and talked about dishes that would pair well with these wines. Thanks to for supplying these wonderful wines and for organizing the delicious charcuterie boards. I loved having my daughter there to help and see pappa do what he loves. Thanks to , the Wine and Food Master of the Melbourne Cricket Club Wine and Food Society, for being there and supporting me. We tasted…
