Griffith University Dentistry students sparkled at the annual GUDSA Dental Ball held at the QT Gold Coast on Saturday 12th September 2026.

The theme of 'Celestial Bodies'💫🌟 set the scene for a dreamy night amongst the glowing stars, acrobatic performances and fortune tellers.
We were delighted to have 60fps on hand to capture this magical evening.

Last Wednesday we welcomed a large group of dentists to our educational evening ‘Teeth & Pulp: the Original & the Best’ to hear from periodontist Dr Rod Marshall and endodontist Dr Kush Ohri.

During the evening at Tattersall’s Club, Dr Marshall shared his insights on evidence versus sales pitch in relation to implants, comparing long-term outcomes and exploring when implants are suitable.

In addition, Dr Ohri discussed some cases, techniques and materials used in saving the dental pulp, offering his perspective on the role of direct and indirect pulp capping and pulpotomy in restorative dentistry.
