Richmond Road Dental is pleased to welcome Dr Jenny Perry to our Practice beginning August 2026!
Dr Jenny has been part of our local community from childhood having grown up in Camp Hill, where she still resides with her husband and three daughters. Dr Jenny has been serving this same local community as a dentist in private practice for the past 17 years and has a strong focus on preventative and family dentistry. Dr Jenny knows that visiting the dentist isn’t everyone’s favourite experience, which is why she is passionate about creating a calm, reassuring environment for every patient. With a gentle, empathetic approach and a genuine commitment to high-quality care, she helps patients of all ages feel at ease.
Her warm, community-minded approach makes her a wonderful addition to our practice.
Dr Jenny is currently taking a well-earned break to spend some quality time with her family. Appointments with Dr Jenny will be available on Tuesdays from August 2026 when we look forward to warmly welcoming her to our expanding dental practice.

Good Morning! ☀️

We are a small dental business located in Morningside 4170. We are looking for some enthusiastic and motivated people to join our wonderful team to be chairside dental assistants to our wonderful dentists. Experience would be fantastic, but not essential. We will provide on the job training and offer a long term secure position to the right candidate. We are located on a major bus route and are walking distance from Morningside train station (once it's fully operational again!).

The Australian Dental Association has put together a great list of apps that motivate kids. From Wiggles Brush to Brusheez, you're sure to find an app that works well for everyone in your household.

We think this a fantastic way to get kids to keep on top of their own oral health! But it is always a good idea for parents or guardians to keep a watchful eye out to ensure no plaque is being left behind 🔍

Choosing the right toothbrush and toothpaste can help you maintain healthy teeth and gums. But there are so many options available! It's no wonder the dental hygiene section of the supermarket is sometimes called "The Aisle of Confusion"! 😵‍💫

🪥When selecting a toothbrush, look for one with soft bristles that can effectively clean your teeth without damaging your gums. It is also best to look for a design with a smaller brush head size so that you have easier access to those hard-to-reach areas.

🦷Consider buying an electric toothbrush, which can more effectively remove plaque in a much shorter period of time than the standard manual toothbrush.

🪥When selecting toothpaste, it's best to choose a brand that contains fluoride. This ingredient can aid in fortifying your teeth and reducing the likelihood of developing cavities. If you suffer from dry mouth or get easily irritated gums, then an SLS-free fluoridated toothpaste may be better for you.

🦷If you experience discomfort in your teeth or gums, your dentist may suggest using a toothbrush and toothpaste specially created for sensitive teeth.

Ask your dentist for recommendations if you find the Aisle of Confusion confusing!!!

The smiling signs AUSLAN resources have been created for members of the Deaf community to access the same information others receive, but in a visual format. It is a joined effort by dentists from the University of Western Australia, Deaf Australia and the Australian Dental Association.

Like many others in Brisbane, our team have been off for a few days of rest and celebration over the public holidays 🎉🎄🎆

Our practice will close for the holidays on December 25th, 26th & 27th as well as January 1st & 2nd 🗓️

However, if you are an existing patient of our practice and are in need of emergency dental care, Richmond Road Dental are open from 8am to 1pm
🔹Wednesday December 28th
🔸Thursday December 29th
🔹Friday December 30th
🔸Saturday December 31st

We will be open again in the New Year on January 3rd at 8am, and back to normal hours from then ✌️
