π¦· Dr Kaur wants you to know: are you using your sensitive toothpaste correctly?
Think about sunscreen βοΈ you put it on your skin and leave it there so it can do its job. Sensitive toothpaste works on a similar principle: the active ingredients need time in contact with your teeth to work.
When brushing with sensitive toothpaste, use a pea-sized amount, brush as usual, then spit out the excess but don't rinse with water straight afterwards. π§β
This leaves a small amount of toothpaste on your teeth, allowing the active ingredients to keep working against sensitivity.
If you're experiencing ongoing sensitivity, speak to our friendly team at Smile Time Family Dental. π
