We are open for late night and early morning appointments. Dr Kristina Hurrell and Dr Arnaldo Avenia practicing as a dentist for 7 years and 30 years in Brisbane CBD dental clinic respectively. Our dentists practice general dentistry, specialising in tooth restoration, teeth extraction (wisdom teeth), oral surgery, preventative dental, childrens dentistry, root canal treatment, dental fillings, pe

Dr Kristina Hurrell practices Cosmetic Dentistry inclusive of muscle relaxants using Dysport, Teosyal Botox & dermal fillers, cosmetic injections, dental veneers, crowns, bridges, sleep apnoea treatments, tooth grinding and teeth whitening. Dr Kristina Hurrell is trained in orthodontics, with an interest in preventative orthodontics, fixed braces and clear aligners. Patients are treated from Brisbane city CBD and Spring Hill, Fortitude Valley, Milton, Newstead, New Farm, Teneriffe, Bowen Hills and Paddington.

From the Dental Options Team we want to say a tremendous thank you to you, our amazing patients, and we would like to announce that we are now back to Level 1 restrictions for dentistry in Queensland.

Level 1 sees us on track to be being back to a state of normality within dentistry. We are able to offer a full range of services again, which is proving to be a huge sigh of relief within the community.

Although we are on the right track with flattening the curve, we still need to remain cautious moving forward so that case numbers don’t spike. As such at Dental Options we will continue our high stand of care, with additional measures to help minimise the spread, we appreciate your continued assistance with these precautionary measures.

We have been very busy contacting all the patients we currently had on the wait list for appointments that were restricted.

For all appointments please phone 3229 4300, please note we will still be running the clinic in a reduced capacity at this time, but will endeavour to ensure a suitable booking for your schedule.

*** COVID-19 UPDATE TO DENTAL SERVICES***
We would like to thank all of our amazing patients for their understanding and patience during this difficult time.
Thanks to the whole community and the rest of Australia's efforts in social distancing to help flatten the curve here in Australia, as of today the government has reduced dental services from Level 3 to Level 2 restrictions.

Level 2 restrictions are based on procedures that do not generate aerosols or if they do, are able to be isolated to minimise the presence of saliva or blood in the aerosols, thereby minimising transmission where possible.

So what do Level 2 restrictions on dental services allow:
- Examinations however no scale and cleans are allowed
- Fillings without aerosol creation or if aerosols are generated under isolation
- Non-surgical extractions
- Hand scaling
- Preventative Procedures ie fluoride applications
- Orthodontic Treatment

Although this is a step in the right direction we will still need to be vigilant, and will be undertaking further precautions in the clinic, and appreciate your assistance with this.

Please note for all patients currently on the call back list we will be going through the list and calling those that are able to be seen under the new restrictions over the coming weeks.

We are currently running the clinic in a reduced capacity due to lock down restrictions that are still in place, and where possible encourage patients to stay at home.

As such for all appointments please phone 3229 4300, you will then be triaged, if a booking is required we are currently scheduling patients Tuesdays and Thursdays, however as need arises this is likely to change.

If you are unsure if your treatment is able to be completed under the current Level 2 restrictions please give us a call, and if we are unable to assist we can always place you on a call back list.

Dental Options will be closed from Monday 6th April until the Government Restrictions are lifted.

However, our highly skilled staff will be available for urgent/emergency cases. In order to make a booking please phone the clinic on (07) 3229 4300 or send us a message via Facebook.

Your call will then be triaged, and where possible you will receive advice on how to manage your condition over the phone.

In true urgent/emergency cases, a booking will be made for you to attend the clinic. However, as Level 3 restrictions are in place due to Covid-19, the treatments that can be performed are restricted to minimise aerosol transmission of the virus.
