A little chat about what we’re taking away from this year’s conference.

For me — the face should never be looked at as separate areas. Everything works together, and understanding those relationships is what creates facial harmony.

And conferences aren’t just about learning the newest techniques. I’m always particularly interested in complications, side effects and how we can manage them better. Patient safety always comes first. 🤍

Robin also shared a great perspective on change — how our industry continues to evolve and how important it is for us as practitioners to evolve with it.

We’re hiring at Facial Harmony Skin & Dental in Box Hill 📣

We’re looking for a warm and clinically minded Dermal Therapist / Dermal Clinician to join our growing skin team.

This is a casual role to start, approximately 1–3 days per week, with the opportunity to transition to permanent part-time for the right person. 💓

The role would suit someone who is passionate about skin health, client education, individualised care and thoughtful treatment planning.

Experience with skin consultations, facials, LED, peels, extractions, skincare recommendations and device-based treatments is highly regarded.

Most people don’t realise how connected these two really are 👀

The way your teeth support your lips.
How bite and jaw tension affect the lower face.
How volume loss isn’t always just a “skin” issue.

You can treat skin beautifully —
but if the structure underneath isn’t considered,
something can still feel… slightly off.

And the same goes the other way around.
That’s why having both perspectives in one place changes things.

Looking at both just means we don’t miss the full picture.

And that usually leads to results that feel a lot more natural 🤍
