The staff at Western Road Dental Care wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a joyous New Year! Stay safe and well if you are travelling!

We understand that emergencies may arise even when you are having lots of fun, or when you are just wanting a check up after all the yummy Christmas treats. The clinic will be open on 29/12 and 30/12 to accommodate the needs of valued patients.

We then will take a short break until 05/01/2026.

However if you have any niggling issues before then, please leave a message on 03 9761 0900 and we will endeavour to get back to you as soon as we can!

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Dr Greg Baranikow, a much-loved dentist who served his community with kindness, integrity, and genuine care.

Dr Baranikow’s family has entrusted Western Road Dental Care to continue the comprehensive care of his valued patients.

At Western Road Dental Care, we are taking the COVID-19 pandemic very seriously. We greatly value every client and take your health and safety. To ensure the safety of everyone including our staff members,we closely adhere to the Australian Dental Associations’ guidelines regarding sterilization and sanitizing.

Please inform one of our lovely staff if you answer yes to any of these questions:
1. Have you been overseas in the last 21 days?
2. Have you been in contact with anyone who come from a high-risk countries (China, South Korea, Iran, Italy, USA, Japan, Cambodia) , or anyone who has been confirmed with COVID-19?
3. Do you have a cough, fever or any respiratory symptoms?

We have made hand sanitizer available in the reception area, and we encourage you to use them before and after your appointment.

Before the appointment, one of our lovely staff will also take your temperature and ensure you have no cold symptoms before proceeding.

You may be asked to do a pre-operative mouth-rinse for one minute before the procedure begins,. Please inform the dentist if you have any allergy.

We appreciate your understanding during this challenging time and are grateful for our clients to help us slowing down the pandemics.

If your child is teething, icy poles will work wonder. Otherwise, chill a face washer or rubber teething toy in the fridge for your little one to chew on.

Parents are advised to massage their child's gums or use a teething ring before trying the gels.
