This patient presented seeking options to restore their smile and improve their ability to eat and function comfortably following significant deterioration and loss of their natural teeth.
When multiple teeth are missing or no longer able to be predictably maintained, there are a number of treatment options that may be considered. The most appropriate approach depends on each patient’s oral health, bone availability, medical history, functional requirements and individual treatment goals.
Following a comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnostic investigations and detailed treatment planning, this patient proceeded with an All-on-4® implant-supported full arch restoration.
The treatment was individually planned to replace the missing teeth with a fixed implant-supported restoration, with consideration given to the patient’s oral health, function and personal treatment goals.
