Dental Health Week 2026 is important to me.

Avoid drinking sports drinks - they have lots of sugar, they're acidic and can wear away the enamel on your teeth.

Tap water is the best option for hydrating whilst playing sport, it is sugar free, PH is neutral and in almost all of NSW contains fluoride, which protects teeth against decay.

This year, we're sharing the message with Australians aged 18 to 25, encouraging good oral health habits and highlighting key topics including wisdom teeth, sports dentistry and cosmetic dental treatments.
