🪥 WORLD TOOTHBRUSH DAY 🦷✨

Is your toothbrush working for you or against you? 🤔

Your toothbrush is one of the most important tools for maintaining a healthy smile, but only if it's used and replaced correctly!

✅ Brush twice a day for 2 minutes
✅ Use gentle, circular motions (don't scrub!)
✅ Replace your toothbrush every 3 months
✅ Change it sooner if the bristles become frayed
✅ Always replace it after recovering from an illness

🔍 Quick Toothbrush Check:

Take a look at your toothbrush right now. Are the bristles bent, flattened, or worn out? If yes, it's time for a new one!
Remember, even the best toothpaste can't do its job properly with a worn-out toothbrush.

🦷 A fresh toothbrush = better plaque removal, healthier gums, and a brighter smile.

When was the last time you changed yours? Tell us in the comments! 👇

Think your tooth broke because of bread? 🥖

👉 It’s usually been weakening for a while.

Cracks, decay, grinding, or old fillings slowly reduce tooth strength—
and then something soft like bread just reveals the problem.

Don’t wait for a break to find out.

📅 Regular check-ups = stronger, longer-lasting teeth

Not all gum disease looks the same 👀

You might have patients with excellent oral hygiene and minimal plaque… yet still show signs of periodontitis.

Meanwhile, others with heavy plaque deposits may not experience the same level of breakdown.

Why?
Because periodontitis isn’t just about plaque — it’s about the body’s response to it.

🧬 Genetics
🛡 Immune response
⚖️ Systemic health
😰 Stress & lifestyle
🔄 Hormonal changes

All play a major role in how the disease progresses.

✨ The takeaway:
Same plaque, different response, different outcome.
That’s why personalised care, risk assessment, and regular periodontal monitoring are essential for every patient.

Think twice before you brush 🪥

After sugary or acidic foods and drinks, your enamel temporarily softens.

Brushing too soon can actually do more harm than good by wearing it away.

⏳ Wait 30–60 minutes before brushing
💧 Rinse with water
🍬 Chew sugar-free gum to boost saliva
🧀 Choose tooth-friendly snacks if needed

Protect your enamel today for a stronger, healthier smile tomorrow.
