Norwest Orthodontics Dr Purkayastha completed his dental training at the University of Sydney where he was awarded the RG Schamshula medal for research in Orthodontics.

He has an active interest in ongoing research and lectures internationally on all aspects of orthodontic care with a special interest in aesthetics, orthopaedic treatment and non-extraction treatment.
