Happy smiles after a great dental visit 😊

These two wonderful young patients had a positive appointment with Dr Cassie Wong, and we were happy to send them home with a dental goody bag to celebrate.

Worried your child may feel nervous at the dentist? We understand.

For some children, visiting the dentist can feel a little overwhelming. That is why, in suitable cases, we may recommend nitrous oxide sedation, often known as “laughing gas.”

Laughing gas is a gentle way to help children feel more relaxed and comfortable during dental treatment. It is inhaled through a small nose piece, works quickly, and is commonly used to help reduce anxiety while your child remains awake and able to respond.

At Dentistry on Solent, our goal is always to make dental visits as calm, positive and supportive as possible — especially for young patients.

If your child feels nervous about dental treatment, Dr Cassie Wong and Dr Sejal Rai are happy to discuss whether nitrous oxide sedation may be a suitable option.

Meet Dr Cassie Wong

Dr Cassie is known for her calm, gentle approach and her ability to make even anxious patients feel genuinely at ease. She believes dentistry should be collaborative, empowering, and tailored to the individual — never rushed or one-size-fits-all.
Dr Cassie practises conservative, minimally invasive dentistry with a focus on long-term oral health. She has a special interest in oral surgery, endodontics, and aesthetic dentistry, and regularly undertakes advanced training to stay at the forefront of modern dentistry.

Dr Cassie holds two degrees from the University of Sydney — a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) and a Doctor of Dental Medicine — bringing a strong evidence-based and holistic perspective to patient care.

Proficient in Mandarin, and Cantonese, she is passionate about helping patients from all backgrounds feel informed, understood, and confident throughout their dental journey.

Outside the clinic, you’ll find her playing futsal, training at the gym, and embracing a balanced lifestyle that reflects her philosophy on sustainable health and wellbeing.
