Dental Assistant/Medical Receptionist

About Us:
We are a busy and welcoming dental clinic committed to providing excellent patient care in a friendly, professional environment. We're currently seeking a reliable dental assistant or an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our front desk team.

Position Summary:
As our Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. This role requires someone with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and prior experience in a dental or medical office setting.

Key Responsibilities:
· Greet patients warmly and professionally
· Schedule and confirm appointments
· Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries
· Verify insurance and handle billing-related tasks
· Maintain accurate patient records
· Support clinical staff with administrative needs

Schedule:
· Part-time hours to full time hours including working until approx 7:45pm on Tuesdays and 6:30pm on Thursdays
· Additional hours may be scheduled based on availability and clinic needs

Requirements:
· Dental assistant: experience preferred, but not required.
· Medical Reception: Previous experience in a medical or dental office is required
· Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance processing preferred
· Proficiency with dental practice software is a plus
· Strong organisational and multitasking skills
· Friendly, professional demeanour with a focus on patient care
