George came to us wanting a natural result that targeted as few teeth as possible, nothing overdone.

Three months of orthodontic treatment with braces brought forward a previously hidden lateral incisor and widened the smile, creating the right foundation. Four minimal prep veneers were then placed to refine the shapes and create balance in the lower third of his face.

This client's main concerns were square, wide front teeth, uneven gums, and persistent discolouration that hadn't responded to whitening. She wanted 6 porcelain veneers with a specific shape in mind; straighter edges and slightly pointy canines rather than overly rounded corners, a detail that was important to her personally.

Teeth whitening, gum reshaping, and 6 porcelain veneers were placed to address each concern and deliver the result she had in mind.

Not every case needs a full mouth of veneers, and this one is a good example of why.

When only two teeth are the concern, the challenge shifts entirely to making the dental work invisible. The veneer has to transition seamlessly from porcelain back to natural tooth without anything giving it away.

This case involved two pegged lateral incisors, addressed with minimal reduction, ultra-thin porcelain veneers handcrafted by ceramist Chloe.

Caitlyn travelled from regional Victoria wanting to address teeth she felt were too small and gappy, without orthodontics or surgery. We began with crown lengthening surgery to address her gum anatomy, reduce gum display, and increase tooth visibility, followed by a 3-month healing period before placing 10 upper and 4 lower porcelain veneers.

Every decision throughout was made with the overall balance of her face in mind, not just the teeth in isolation.

Resin bonding can be a great short-term solution but over time it can discolour, chip, and wear unevenly. When that happens, replacement with porcelain veneers is often the more considered long-term path.

Porcelain is stronger, more stain resistant, and when handcrafted by ceramist Chloe, designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding natural teeth.
