Our practice will be closed from 1pm on 23 December 2021 and reopen 9am on 10 January 2022.

We will regularly monitor email and website communication over this period, however patients are advised to contact their local general dentist for emergency care in the first instance.

Midwestern Dental Specialists in compliance with the Australian Dental Association is temporarily closed for treatment. We hope to reopen and return to normal after the government mandated 5 day lockdown on Thursday 18th February. Christmas Closure Notice

Midwestern Dental Specialists will be closed for the festive season from 1pm on Wednesday 23 December 2020 to Tuesday 5 January 2021 inclusive, and will be reopening 9am on Wednesday 6 January 2021.

Following the new Victorian Guidelines, all Victorians will be required to wear a face mask when outside their home from 11:59pm Sunday 2nd August. This includes all patients and accompanying persons attending our clinic.

We would like to ensure our patients that we are keeping up to date with the current COVID-19 pandemic. As such we can advise that all practices outside of the Melbourne Metropolitan area and the Shire of Mitchell continue to remain at Level 1 Dental restrictions. The Australian Dental Association does not believe this will change, but as always we will keep our patients as informed as possible.

We are pleased to confirm that we are able to continue treatment at a full capacity for all of our lovely patients. We are also happy to announce that our theatre lists in Ballarat are back up and running at a limited capacity.

If you had an existing appointment or surgery that was cancelled due to COVID-19, please be patient with us, our friendly reception staff will contact you to reschedule as soon as possible.

We are happy to advise that the Federal government has eased the restrictions on dental treatment to level 2 from Monday the 27th April.

This means it has given us the ability to attend to the needs of a broader range of patients, not just emergencies. If you had an appointment that was cancelled, our friendly administration team will be in contact with you to reschedule it as soon as possible.
