Two Booked-Out Education Evenings Across Victoria
A fantastic couple of evenings connecting with dental colleagues across Melbourne and Geelong with week.

On Wednesday night, Dr Varun Chopra and I welcomed clinicians to Fixed Teeth Australia Keilor Park for an evening of discussion around Full Arch Dental Implant treatment planning, surgical and restorative workflows, maintenance and collaborative patient care.

Last night we headed to the Royal Geelong Yacht Club, where I had the pleasure of presenting alongside Dr Andrew Welsh from Geelong Implant Centre for our Geelong Full Arch education evening.

Both events were booked out, and it was great to see such strong engagement from dental professionals across Victoria.

A sincere thank you to everyone who joined us at both venues, contributed to the discussions and shared their clinical perspectives throughout the evenings.

Thank you also to Southern Implants Australia for their support.

Two venues, two great groups of clinicians and plenty of valuable discussion around collaborative Full Arch Dental Implant care.

Keep an eye out for more events coming soon!

Not every Full Arch case is straightforward.
We regularly receive referrals for cases involving:
• Severe bone loss
• Failed implants
• Fractured prosthetics
• Complications from previous treatment
These cases require more than just following a protocol.
They require:
• Advanced surgical planning
• Experience managing complications
• The ability to adapt and refine the approach
This is where experience matters most —
and why complex Full Arch cases are often referred to dedicated teams like ours.
—
Full Arch, handled with experience.

Experience doesn’t just improve outcomes.
It drives innovation.

After thousands of Full Arch cases, patterns emerge:

• Where stability is critical
• Where designs can be improved
• Where workflows can be refined

That experience doesn’t just make you better clinically —
it allows you to contribute to what comes next.
Not in theory — but in practice.

Built on experience.

A proven protocol is just the starting point.
Full Arch treatment has delivered consistent outcomes for decades – with success rates around ~98% based on long-term clinical research.
That foundation is well established.
—
The question is:
How do you take something that works… and make it better?
—
At Fixed Teeth Australia, that focus has been on refining how the protocol is executed:
• Improving primary stability at placement
• Reducing variability across cases
• Optimising performance in angled implant positions
• Integrating surgical, prosthetic and lab workflows
—
This is where modern implant design plays a role.
Working closely with implant engineers, our clinical team has contributed to the development of the SP1 implant system – designed specifically for Full Arch treatment.
Built to:
• Enhance initial stability
• Perform predictably in tilted configurations
• Support immediate loading protocols
—
Not a new protocol.
A more refined way of delivering it.
—
Because in Full Arch treatment:
The protocol sets the foundation.
Ex*****on determines the outcome.
—
From Good…
to Great.

The 98% success rate* from the Malo Full Arch treatment didn’t come from a product.

It comes from a protocol – and how it’s executed.

At Fixed Teeth Australia, Full Mouth Dental Implants are all we do, all day, every day.

Not an occasional procedure.
Not part of a broader mix.

That level of focus matters – because this protocol is highly dependent on ex*****on.

—

At its core, the approach involves:
• Two straight anterior implants
• Two tilted posterior implants

This configuration is designed to:
• Reduce distal cantilevers and improve prosthetic support
• Maximise use of available bone
• Engage higher-quality anterior bone
• Avoid key anatomical structures
– Inferior alveolar nerve (mandible)
– Maxillary sinus (maxilla)
• Reduce or eliminate the need for grafting in many cases

—

From there, the protocol continues with:
• Immediate loading via a provisional bridge
• Staged transition to a second bespoke prosthesis after healing

All working together as a biomechanical system.

—

This is what has been validated over decades.

But here’s the part often overlooked:
It’s not just the components –
it’s understanding how they work together.

How load is distributed.
How stability is achieved.
How surgical and prosthetic phases integrate.

—

The principles haven’t changed.

But how precisely we execute them –
that’s where the difference is made.

Full Arch treatment didn’t stop evolving 20 years ago.

The original protocol transformed implant dentistry – delivering long-term outcomes in the ~98% range*.

But like all areas of medicine, it doesn’t stand still.

At Fixed Teeth Australia, we’re building on that foundation through:
• Refined surgical workflows
• Deeper clinical experience
• Next-generation implant design

The goal isn’t to reinvent what works –
it’s to advance it.

To take a proven protocol…
from Good to Great.

A proud moment for our Ballarat team.

If you’re passing through Mair Street and stopping in at The Foundry 411 for a coffee, you might spot a familiar face looking back at you. Our new Fixed Teeth Australia Ballarat billboard is now live.

This one is special. It features Dr Jono Marin, who has been making a wonderful impact with his calm, patient-focused approach, alongside myself and one of our valued patients, Madeleine Brown.

Jono is a fantastic addition to our Ballarat clinic, and it’s been great to see him building strong connections within the local community. We’re proud to support his continued growth as he helps lead the next chapter of care in Ballarat.

A sincere thank you to Madeleine for being part of this - your support and trust mean a great deal to our team.

Investing in our team to elevate the patient experience.
Last weekend, our Victorian team completed two days of sales and communication training with Greg Zimbulis as part of an ongoing development program across Fixed Teeth Australia.

We were also joined on-ground by members of our NSW team, including Dr Kevin McGregor and Treatment Coordinator Bella, who travelled down to be part of the training. Opportunities like this are invaluable - not just for learning, but for strengthening alignment and connection across our clinics.

When patients begin exploring complex dental treatment, clear communication and supportive guidance are incredibly important. My goal is to ensure every patient feels informed, supported and confident about their next steps.

Programs like this help us strengthen how we communicate, guide and support patients throughout their All-Fixed Full Arch Dental Implant journey so no one feels unsure about where they are in the process.

Greg’s experience in leadership development and sales capability made this a valuable learning opportunity for our team, and we’re in great hands as we continue building stronger teams across our clinics.

Strong teams create better patient experiences - and that’s always my focus.

International Women’s Day | Fixed Teeth Australia, Victoria
This International Women’s Day, I want to recognise the women who help shape the culture, care and professionalism across Fixed Teeth Australia.

Across our national network, more than 80% of our team are women - clinicians, nurses, treatment coordinators, technicians and support staff who play an important role in supporting patients throughout their full mouth dental implant journey.

Across our Victorian clinics in Melbourne, Ballarat and Geelong, I’m fortunate to work alongside a strong and dedicated team of women across many roles within the clinic. Their professionalism, compassion and commitment contribute to the supportive environment our patients experience every day and play an important role in supporting each patient’s journey.

Investing in talented people strengthens our team and allows us to continue supporting patients across the broader Fixed Teeth Australia network.

To all the women across our clinics - thank you for the contribution you make to our patients, our teams and our culture.
