We’re Hiring: Dental Assistant

Are you friendly, enthusiastic, and keen to learn? We’d love to welcome a Dental Assistant to our Armidale practice.

About the role

Experience is great, but it’s not essential. If you’re the right fit, we’ll provide full training and support you to complete Certificate III in Dental Assisting.

We’re a caring, friendly team that values integrity, great patient care, and making people feel comfortable from the moment they walk in.
Our modern, fully computerised practice provides comprehensive dentistry and preventative care. We’re open Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

What you’ll be doing

● Chairside assisting
● Preparing and managing treatment rooms
● Cleaning and sterilising dental instruments
● General cleaning

What we’re looking for

● Great communication and people skills
● Strong computer skills
● Certificate III in Dental Assisting, or willingness to work towards it
● A reliable, responsible, and efficient approach
● High standards of personal presentation
● A warm, friendly, and professional manner
● Confidence following procedures and protocols
● A genuine commitment to patient care and customer service
● A team-focused attitude
● Strong attention to detail and time management
● Confidence working independently when required
● A willingness to learn and grow
● A proactive attitude and confidence to ask for support when needed

Meet Emma! 👋

Emma is our Oral Health Therapist. Oral Health Therapists assess patients' oral health and identify problems. They play a crucial role in promoting good oral health through education, preventative treatments like cleans and fluoride applications, and early intervention to prevent dental problems from developing. They can perform fillings, extractions of baby teeth, and manage gum disease.
