Dear patients and friends, we have just received an update from the Australian Dental Association to clarify the restrictions on the provision of dental care during this period of Stage 4 lockdown. As per the direction, we will keep our office open from next Monday for dental emergencies only until further notice. We hope that we can start providing regular dental treatments again from Thursday and will keep you updated.
Thank you again for your patience.

PS : We will be sending text reminders to patients who have appointments for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Hello everyone, this is Dr. Wonki and I am the principal dentist at Barkly Street Dental.
Now, I just wanted to take a moment to let you know about the current changes that are happening in our dental practice and our services to you.
I think you all know and understand that we are facing unprecedented circumstances at the moment with regards to COVID-19 and every business and every person needs to make adjustments to the normal way of living.
Our dental practice will be limiting our service to URGENT dental procedures following the Level 3 restrictions that have been mandated by the government on the evening of 26th March 2020. Level 3 restrictions have been placed due to increased community transmission of COVID-19 and the increased risk to our community.
What does this mean to you?
This means that we feel that you are safer to rather than come into our practice unless you are experiencing an URGENT dental concern.
For all our patients who have existing appointments, our staff members and dentists will be in contact with you all individually to explain the situation and work out when would be the best to come in for your treatment.
The important thing we want you to know is that we are still here for you. We will be answering your phone calls and we are working on putting in a system where we are going to be able to use the latest technology to be able to do video consults where I will be able to help you through any dental concern that you may have during this time.
We thank you for your understanding and support as we implement these necessary adjustments and we hope that you and your family are safe and well during this challenging time.
