5 signs you’re due for a dental checkup 🦷

It’s been 6+ months since your last visit

Even with no pain, plaque and tartar build up — regular check-ups catch problems early, before they become bigger problems

Bleeding or swollen gums

This can be an early sign of gum disease — the sooner it’s checked, the easier and more efficient it is to treat.

Sensitivity to hot, cold or sweet

New sensitivity that wasn’t there before? It’s worth getting checked. It can be a sign of something as simple as needing to change your toothpaste to something more serious.

Chips, cracks or discoloration

Any visible changes — or a filling/crown feeling loose — are worth a look. Sometimes a small fix now will save you a bigger fix down the line.

Bad breath that won’t budge

Even with great brushing habits, persistent bad breath can point to hidden decay or gum issues.
