We are a busy dental practice located in Ballarat and are excited that our practice is growing. We are now looking for a star dental assistant trainee.

When our patients arrive in our clinic we want them to feel like they have arrived somewhere unique. A place where despite what is happening, the delivery of service is beyond the extraordinary.

We need someone who has a heart for patient service and an eye for detail, ensuring all dental assisting protocols are followed.

We are looking for a team member who exudes a friendly and approachable personality, who has a great attitude and is eager to learn what it takes to deliver a ‘5 star customer experience’. We aim to make every patient feel special every time they interact with our practice.

To make a great first impression with our patients and your colleagues, you’ll need to be immaculately presentable, professional, and prompt.

You will be part of a team which we call family where people are valued for their work and contribution to the practice. A friendly and approachable manner with a ‘can do attitude’ for each task and a unified approach to teamwork is essential.

You must be able to thrive in an environment where new technologies are a constant and professional development is a focus.

The role
• You will be the first point of contact in the
clinic for patients and their families, so a

• Infection control (sterilisation)
• Learning to use our 3D Scanner
• No experience needed. On the job training
provided
• As part of this role, our practice will invest
in your training to become a fully qualified
Cert III Dental Assistant

• (Full Time) 38 hours a week with some after
hours and weekend work included
• The Traineeship takes between 9 and 12
months to complete, some at home

In one pilot study, oil pulling with coconut oil for 30 days significantly decreased plaque buildup and signs of gingivitis in 60 participants with plaque-induced gum disease
