Dental Receptionist – Part-Time

About the Role
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience from the moment they walk through our doors.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Welcoming patients with a friendly and professional manner.
* Answering phone calls and managing appointment bookings.
* Processing payments and health fund claims.
* Managing recalls and patient correspondence.
* Maintaining accurate patient records.
* Coordinating the daily appointment schedule.
* Assisting with general administrative duties.
* Supporting the clinical team to ensure the day runs smoothly.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Is organised, reliable, and able to multitask.
* Enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.
* Has strong computer skills and attention to detail.
* Presents professionally with a positive attitude.
* Can remain calm and compassionate in a busy environment.
Preferred
* Previous dental reception experience.
* Experience with dental practice softwareDental4Windows.
* Knowledge of private health fund claims and Medicare.
