Our dental practice at Werdertorgasse 15 in Vienna's 1st district treats a large number of international patients, and we handle the entire process in English: the first consultation, the examination, the diagnosis, the treatment plan and the written cost estimate.
For expats, the practical questions usually aren't about dentistry — they're about paperwork. So here's how it works: we are a private dental practice (Wahlarzt), which means you settle the invoice with us and then submit it for reimbursement, either to ÖGK if you're insured in Austria, or to your international or private health insurance. You always receive the cost estimate in writing before treatment begins, so you can clarify your coverage in advance.
