- في البداية نزيل التسوس بشكل كامل من السن ، ثم يتم ازالة العصب الملتهب وتنظيف جميع القنوات من البكتيريا وتوسيعها ومن ثم يتم حشوه.

- قد يتم اضافة وتداً على السن المصاب إذا كان متاكلاً جداً.

- وفي النهاية يتم تركيب التاج الصناعي لحماية السن المعالج لبياً من الكسر.
