In this case, we replaced an old implant crown with a new, more natural-looking restoration and added three porcelain veneers to improve the overall harmony of the smile.

Small change, big impact.

This diastema closure was completed using a direct composite technique — without shaving or drilling the natural teeth.

By carefully layering and shaping composite resin, we were able to close the gap in a minimally invasive way while preserving the natural tooth structure.

Bhutan had been a dream destination of mine for many years — and it turned out to be even more special than I imagined.

Hiking above 4,000 meters, reaching remote mountain peaks, and spending the night in a Buddhist monastery that only very few foreigners visit each year was an experience I will never forget.

But what made this trip truly unforgettable was not only the landscape, the spirituality, and the silence of the mountains — it was the incredible hospitality, warmth, and friendliness of the Bhutanese people.

There is a reason Bhutan is often called one of the happiest places in the world.
Grateful for this beautiful journey, the people I met, and the memories that will stay with me for a lifetime.

In this complex case, we restored lost vertical dimension with high-end ceramic onlays, rebalanced a constricted bite pattern, and rejuvenated worn, aged-looking teeth with individually crafted porcelain veneers.

The treatment also included periodontal therapy to create a healthier foundation, as well as two dental implants to replace chronically infected teeth and help eliminate infection within the jawbone.

The goal was not only a more youthful and harmonious smile, but also a healthier, more balanced, functional, and stable bite.

Sometimes even small details can significantly influence the overall harmony of a smile.

In this case, an old discolored composite restoration was replaced and the tooth was carefully reshaped using modern adhesive composite techniques.

The objective was not simply to change the filling itself, but to create a more balanced integration in terms of shape, surface texture, proportions, and color.

Composite bonding allows highly conservative improvements while preserving healthy tooth structure — provided that attention is given not only to the material, but also to anatomy, light dynamics, and facial harmony.

Never stop learning.

An inspiring and intensive time in Brazil dedicated to advanced adhesive and aesthetic dentistry.

During this trip, I had the privilege of completing the program at the Newton Fahl Training Center and becoming an official graduate of the training center founded by Newton Fahl Jr. — internationally recognized as the leading pioneer in direct composite artistry and adhesive dentistry.

Direct composite veneers and bonding may appear simple from the outside, but achieving highly natural, functional, and long-lasting results requires an exceptional understanding of anatomy, optics, layering, materials, and minimally invasive concepts.

I also had the opportunity to attend the annual congress of the Sociedade Brasileira de Odontologia Estética, surrounded by some of the most talented clinicians and educators in aesthetic dentistry worldwide.

Continuous education and exposure to different philosophies, techniques, and clinical perspectives remain an essential part of my professional journey — always with the goal of refining the level of care, precision, and predictability that can be offered to patients.

A worn dentition is rarely only an aesthetic issue.

In many cases, it is closely linked to functional instability, loss of support, and progressive changes in the bite over time.

This case involved a complex full-mouth rehabilitation to correct a posterior open bite, restore the worn dentition, and reestablish functional harmony and stability.

Beyond the functional improvement, one of the most striking aspects was the rejuvenating effect on the overall smile and facial appearance — something that is often underestimated in dentistry.

When tooth wear, bite collapse, and altered proportions are restored thoughtfully, the impact extends far beyond the teeth themselves.
Support, balance, smile dynamics, and facial integration can change significantly while still maintaining a natural appearance.

Comprehensive rehabilitation cases require careful planning, precise ex*****on, and a deep understanding of both function and aesthetics.

Receiving recognition as a Specialist in Prosthodontics by the European Prosthodontic Association at this year’s annual congress was a truly meaningful moment for me.

The accreditation process is exceptionally thorough and involves multiple stages — including case submissions, detailed evaluation, and examination by a committee of professors from leading European dental universities.

What makes this recognition particularly special to me is not simply the title itself, but what it represents: a continuous commitment to precision, function, aesthetics, and long-term treatment quality. Prosthodontics is a field where details matter enormously.

Every decision — from diagnosis and occlusion to material selection and facial integration — influences the longevity and predictability of the final result.

I felt deeply honored and grateful to receive this recognition among colleagues and mentors whose work I have respected for many years.

Continuous education and constant refinement remain an essential part of my philosophy, always with the goal of providing patients with dentistry that is not only aesthetic, but functional, biologically respectful, and built to last.
