The Al-Bahri Dental and Orthodontic Center started at its inception as the Al-Bahri Dental Clinic in 1978, and is known as one of the first licensed clinics serving Al-Ain city and the surrounding suburbs in the Emirate of Abu-Dhabi. This early start began with the rise of the United Arab Emirates in all aspects and particularly in the field of healthcare, where we felt a substantial responsibilit
y towards our community by offering the utmost work ethic, morality and loyalty. Our practice began at a time where a particular need to create awareness of oral hygiene and general health within our community was critical. With the help of Allah, we were able to give all we can to promote health awareness and give our very best to the well deserving people of this generous country. These services started with dental pain management followed by the appropriate treatment of basic dental pathology and has progressed rapidly to where we can now offer a range of services not previously in existence due to advances in the technological aspect of dentistry. Such services now include Implantology, Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, Periodontics and Cosmetic dentistry. We also offer Pediatric dental care with the assistance of the inhaled (N2O2) or general anesthetics for infants, toddlers and children of all ages.We also offer Pediatric dental care with the assistance of the inhaled (N2O2) or general anesthetics for children in co-operation with our sister institution, the Specialized Medical Care Hospital. We are grateful and proud to have served our community with nearly 40 years of experience in practice and tens of thousands of successful cases and satisfied patients. We look forward to serving many more as the field of dentistry continues to develop and expand even further. The Al-Bahri Dental Clinic was founded in 1978 following my graduation from Alexandria University in Egypt, 1977 in the field of Dental and Implant Surgery. This was a continuation of a path started by my father, who practiced as a Dentist from 1948 up to his retirement in 1976. This dental practice continues to the present day as we hope to continue serving our community for a third generation, where my son, Dr. Rami Samih Al-Bahri who graduated this summer from New York University is continuing his sub-specialty training in the field of Prosthodontics at Harvard University. He will soon join our practice to continue in his fore-fathers’ footsteps in the care of the people of this generous nation. In conclusion, I would like to say that we do not pretend to be the best in the field, we actually prove it every day by choosing to be at the forefront of medical care and offering the highest standard of care possible to our community.
