Dentacare Centre Dentacare Centre is one of the oldest Dental practice in Abudhabi since 1997. Thanks to the trust and loyalty of our patients and our visionary leaders , Dentacare has served the population of UAE for over 25 years. Dentacare centre and Branch have an efficient team of over 10 specialists ,supported by allied support staff rendering excellent Dental care to the residents of Abudhabi. Dentacare Centre, Abu Dhabi took its roots in 1997 under the patronship of His Excellency Mohamed Fadhel al Hameli who was keen on improving the private health sector. He is the ex-chairman of the Zayed Humanitarian organization. He was a very active, elected member of the Federal National Council, an affiliate of the Federal Government of the United Arab Emirates.

It started as a single dental

clinic in 1997 by Dr. Suganthi, and in 2014 Dentacare Branch was launched by Dr. Sabu Ganesan. Under the guidance of Dr. Sabu as Clinical Director And Dr. Suganthi as Manager, Dentacare Centre & Branch has expanded over the past 25 years into a Dental Centre with over 10 specialists at present. As our motto states The Centre that CARES for your Teeth! we are truly dedicated to ethical dentistry with a caring touch. A 2025 randomized clinical trial published in the European Heart Journal found that intensive periodontal treatment was associated with favorable changes in blood-vessel health over two years. The study followed 135 people with severe periodontitis and compared intensive periodontal treatment with less-intensive control treatment.

After 24 months, the intensive-treatment group had a smaller carotid intima-media thickness (cIMT) a measure of arterial-wall thickness and also showed improved endothelial function. Researchers also observed reductions in some inflammatory markers.

This is an important finding because periodontitis is a chronic inflammatory disease, but it does not prove that treating gum disease prevents heart attacks or strokes. The trial measured vascular changes rather than cardiovascular events themselves.

The takeaway: treating serious gum disease may benefit more than your teeth and gums and maintaining oral health is an important part of overall health. ️

When a tooth is lost, nearby teeth can slowly drift into the empty space, while the opposing tooth may continue to move because it no longer has contact. Over time, these changes can affect your bite, make chewing less efficient, and create areas where food and plaque are more likely to accumulate.

The jawbone beneath a missing tooth also begins to lose density because it no longer receives stimulation from the tooth root. Replacing the tooth with a suitable option such as a dental implant, bridge, or partial denture can help restore function, maintain jawbone support, and preserve proper tooth alignment. Early evaluation by a dental professional can help determine the most appropriate treatment and support long-term oral health.
