The 46th IDA UP State Dental Conference 2024 concluded successfully, leaving behind cherished memories and a wealth of knowledge to guide the future of dentistry. Hosted at the Radisson Hotel, Sector 18, Noida, from November 15 to 17, 2024, the conference highlighted the evolving landscape of dentistry.
The Chief Guest of the Inauguration Ceremony, Shri Kalraj Mishra, Ex- Governor Himachal Pradesh & Rajasthan, Ex- Union Minister, Government of India, a respected political figure, emphasized the rapid advancements in dental science, especially in the realm of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, he praised the conference theme as apt and forward-looking. He also acknowledged the critical role dentists play not only in treating dental conditions but also in addressing broader social issues. Dr. Sharad Kapoor, a distinguished personality in the field of dentistry were the Guest of Honour.
The conference saw active participation, with over 550 Delegates and Students participating in the conference and a rich Scientific Session with Prominent Orations from National and International Speakers, Panel Discussions and Key Note Addresses by Distinguished Personalities in the field of dentistry, enthusiastic participation in Scientific Paper & Poster Presentation by delegates.
Even Students from various dental colleges of Uttar Pradesh & Delhi participated with great zest and zeal with 75 students presenting scientific papers and 47 students displaying their scientific posters. The best papers and posters were selected through rigorous criteria, and awards were distributed to the deserving participants.
The Conference also witnessed a beautiful Cultural Programme and Sports Competitions spread over all three days of Conference which saw beautiful Indian folk & classical singing and dance performances by small children and ardent participation in E- Sports events by students and delegates including senior members of association alike.
Dr. Dhirendra Srivastava and Dr. Savida Tonk, the organizers of the conference, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the delegates. Esteemed attendees included Dr. Ravindra Nath M, Dr. Umesh Sharma, Dr. Rajiv Chugh, Dr. Pradeep Agarwal, Dr. Sachin Prakash, Dr. T.P. Chaturvedi, Dr. Amit Shukla, Dr. S.K.
