Dr. Shawn McDevitt WELCOME TO THE PRACTICE OF
Shawn R. McDevitt, DDS Dr. Shawn McDevitt was born and raised in Yakima Valley, spending his early years in Selah.

He received his bachelor's degree in Biology and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington. While volunteering in the university dental school as an undergraduate he recognized the impact dental care can have on quality of life; at this time Shawn made the decision to pursue dentistry as a career! Upon graduation in 1996 Dr. McDevitt returned to Yakima as a general dentist serving the needs of families in the community! Dr. McDevitt works closely with his team of dental professionals providing the full range of dental services. He enjoys the relationships with clients and the strong bonds formed working with quality individuals all dedicated to providing excellent care. He has continued to receive education through involvement in the Yakima Prosthodontic and Implant seminar and Christens Practical Clinic Courses. In 2007, he completed training and received certification in sedation dentistry through DOCS education. To this day Dr. McDevitt resides in Yakima with his wife Diane and their Golden Retriever/Poodle mix Cooper! In his free time Shawn enjoys spending time with his family on Lake Pend O' Reille in Sandpoint Idaho!
