Wow! When it rains it pours. Or people are just getting their holiday sweet tooth a little early. I have multiple orders going out this weekend! That hasn't happened in a very long time. Going to get creative for a Dr. Who themed birthday party and make "fish fingers and custard" in chocolate cookie cups. Once all the dust has settled it is on to a dark chocolate and peppermint ganache layer cake, and just for good measure I promised my 6 year old we could do some Christmas cookies this weekend as well. We had a busy weekend around here. 3 pound cakes last week and 4 dozen pumpkin muffins, roughly. Now on to 10 dozen Halloween cookies and a brand new cake for this weekend. Spiced Chai cake with Swiss meringue buttercream. Yum!

I am officially famous! :) My husband sent the picture of the edible board game that I made him to a well known gaming website and they posted my picture. I have had lots of compliments and even quite a few 're-blogs'. Feeling a little sheepish (blush).

My wife surprised me with a very special homemade 34th birthday cake: The Cupcakes of Catan. Seriously, how awesome is this?
