Each month, we recognize a team member who exemplifies our core values of CHAAD. These values stand for considerate, humble, ambitious, adaptable, and dependable.
We would like to congratulate our May π²π·π°π°π³ ππππ, Emelie βοΈ
βEmelie is a jack of all trades. Emelie started off as a shadow in our office and has become our go to for anything needed in the office. No matter what the situation, Emelie is always there to help get us through with a smile on her face. She has grown so much over the last few years, and I am so excited for her to start her journey off at dental school in August!β

βEmelie is bright, dependable, and adaptable. She is willing and able to step into any role in the office to help when needed. She is very personable, she makes friends quickly, and patients love her. Wherever she is, she carries a smile and lifts the people around her. It's been such a privilege to have her on the team. Itβs bittersweet to see her leave for dental school, but we are very excited for this next chapter of her life. She will be incredible as Dr. Nickel!β

βFour years ago, another dentist shared a resume with me and asked if Iβd be willing to let a prospective dental student shadow in our office. I typically enjoy having people shadow, but you can usually tell quickly that most donβt fully understand what it takes to go all the way in this profession. When she showed up, I quickly realized this was different. Emelie spent some time shadowing in our office, and a couple of years later, after graduating from undergrad, she reached back out to ask about potential employment opportunities. I quickly passed her along to leadership, and Emelie officially joined Wichita Endodontics.
Since coming on board, she has learned, grown, and developed into so many roles. She has worked chairside, helped with consults, worked the front desk, and floated around putting out fires wherever needed. She has truly become the Swiss Army knife of Wichita Endo West.
Iβm happy to report that during her time with us, Emelie was accepted into dental school and will one day be our colleague after several more long, grueling, and sleepless years. But if anyone can tackle it and come out smiling on the other side, itβs Emelie.
Congratulations, Emelie!β
