Well got home about 3:15 this morning from Lebanon Tennessee.. I finally went and cooked the World Invitational my first time ever cooking It and my first time cooking in Tennessee... I see what everyone talks about this Comp because its hands down really well ran Eric, Rod and every single person and reps and volunteers are what make it this way.. Even though it rained all weekend it was still a great time.. I have had time to cool off and just be thankful that my trip was safe and got to hang out and cook meat in a parking lot.. with that said I want the results are as follows

Chicken Championship
43rd out of 74 teams

Saturday "Open" contest
52nd 🐔
2nd 🍖 with a 180
101 🐖 (tasted like plastic had a bad rub)
13th 🐮
Good enough for 24th overall out of 117 teams

Sunday "Invitational " contest
7th 🐔 with a 180

70th 🐮 with a 166.8344 (😳🤔)
I dont like saying much but that brisket was just as good as Saturday if not better..

Good enough for 30th overall out of 82 solid teams..
Congrats to on the GC and RGC and everyone else who heard their names called... I want thank my pal Scott for rolling with me and running boxes and being there man.. I also want to say im super excited and grateful that I got 2 180s (ribs Day 1, Chicken Day 2) and a 13th brisket at one of the biggest stages of bbq.. ill take it especially my first time competing at them..

Set up and ready to roll here at the World's in Lebanon Tennessee.. first time ever cooking the KCBS World's.. tonight start with the Chicken Championship cook and then The 4 big meats Saturday and Sunday... super excited to be able to cook this and hopefully the rain will stop to be able to walk around and see it all... good luck to everyone competing here 💪...

Ran down the Kennett Missouri this weekend for the 44th Kennett Jaycees BBQ Cook Off.. was my first time competing here and it was a good one... I rolled solo again and felt like I had a decent cook.. the judges somewhat agreed

Good enough for 10th overall with a stacked field of cooks that was there ill take the 10th overall and put in the work to be that cook...huge congrats to Mulkey's BBQ & catering LLC for the GC and Kermit's Ex BBQ for the RGC he cant miss a 700 lol congrats buddy... also congrats to everyone else who heard their names called.. next up... stay tuned...

Well ran up north solo this weekend to Cambridge Iowa for the SmokeHouse Barbeque Showdown. and his whole crew do a fantastic job at making comps ran really well.. from the team interductions on Friday to awards Saturday afternoon they check every box.. this comp was a first year comp and was at .. this place is beautiful give it look... I also got to see 1 of my favorite Iowa people Lyn well got to see Steve to but on FaceTime as he is getting chemo done and fighting cancer.. I was hesitant to run north but couldn't miss this one. I thought I turned in some decent food and the judges somewhat agreed besides chicken again 🤷‍♂️ the results are as follows

Good enough for 💥 RESERVE GRAND CHAMPION 💥 congrats to on the GC and to everyone else who heard their names called.. I will say one thing i exceeded my expectations and IOWA teams know how to feed ya.. man I ate a lot of food Saturday morning lol.. oh wait that lucky egg sandwich did it... Iowa it was fun

Ran up the road 12 minutes to Sugar Creek Missouri this weekend to cook at Smokin' In The Creek BBQ Contest .. its hard to pass on a comp that's super close.. Sue and her whole crew do a great job putting this comp on and was one of my first Master series comps i did when I started out. It was a beautiful morning this morning.. and man was my trailer full.. had my good pal and runner back and was able to host to watch how i do things and how i get lucky.. I have always told people they are so close to breaking that hump and putting it all together.. thanks guys and was a great time and hopefully i dont mess y'all up to bad... ALSO was lucky that my ole lady and sons made it to awards...Anyways now to the cook..the lump had my drums humming right along and flawless... I felt like I had a decent cook and the judges agreed the results are as follows

Well ran down to iola ks for the Rotary Club Smokin Hot Cars and BBQ comp. John and his crew do a fantastic job of making this a great comp from the taco bar Friday night to the awards Saturday. . We got lucky and dodge the severe weather Friday night and after all the rain cleared i was able to get my drums loaded with lump and up and humming that chilly Saturday morning.. I thought I had a decent cook and was able to turn in everything on time as I was SOLO this weekend.. and the judges agreed.. the results are as follows

Ran over to Osage City KS for Smoke In the Spring.. .corey and his whole crew do a fantastic job at making this one of the best ran comps there is.. if you haven't signed up to cook it you should you wont be disappointed... was great to have my buddy Scott back running boxes and being a big help.. with that said the results are as follows out of 103 solid teams
