Accidents happen — and when they involve your teeth, it can feel overwhelming. If a tooth gets knocked out, staying calm and acting quickly can make all the difference.

Gently pick up the tooth by the crown (the white part) and avoid touching the root. If it’s dirty, rinse it carefully with water — no scrubbing or soap. If you can, try to place the tooth back into its socket and keep it in place by biting down softly. If that isn’t possible, store the tooth in milk or in your mouth between your cheek and gums to keep it moist. Then, contact Mack Dental right away.
