Elastics can be used with braces, clear aligners, and certain orthodontic appliances—but why are they so important?
Your smile is about more than straight teeth! Elastics apply gentle pressure to help move your teeth into positions that improve how your upper and lower teeth fit together. Depending on your treatment plan, they can help correct issues such as overbites, underbites, crossbites, and open bites.
Your consistency makes a difference! Wearing them as directed helps your bite correction progress. Skipping them can slow things down and extend your treatment.
✅ Wear and replace them exactly as instructed.
✅ Keep extras in your backpack, purse, or pocket.
✅ Wash your hands before putting them in.
✅ Never double up—extra force doesn’t mean faster results!
