Paul Revere worked as an amateur dentist for a few years between 1768 and 1770 to supplement his income as a silversmith during an economic downturn. He learned the trade from John Baker, an early European practitioner in North America. Revere cleaned teeth and wired false teeth—often crafted from walrus ivory or animal bone—into patients' mouths. Because of this side job, he is credited as the first person to practice forensic dentistry in the United States. In 1776, he famously identified the body of his fallen friend, Dr. Joseph Warren, from a mass grave by recognizing the specific silver wire and dental bridge he had previously constructed for him.

Crew came in for his first dental appointment. This is special because he is the 4th generation of his family to be a patient at Wood Family Dentistry. His Great Grandfather Tommy Collins, then his Grandmother Jennifer Collins Davis, then his father Conner Evans and now Crew have trusted their dental care to Dr Wood.
