Two composite veneers with ZERO tooth structure removed. Slowly removed the old composite on two teeth (front bigger tooth and the one next to it). Never perfect but always striving to be better. I think matching a a natural front tooth is one of the hardest things to do in cosmetic dentistry.

I love a good cosmetic challenge, and this case definitely was one.

She had an existing crown that didn’t match, old composite, some chipping, and a wedding coming up, which gave us a pretty tight timeline.

The goal was to work with just the four upper front teeth and make them blend seamlessly with the rest of her smile.

Cases like this are all about balance, detail, and making sure the final result still feels completely natural.

The question I always come back to is: How much of your natural tooth can we preserve?

Cosmetic dentistry shouldn’t only be about creating a beautiful result. It should also consider what we’re preserving along the way.

That philosophy is a big part of why I built HARA around minimally invasive dentistry.

Sometimes the right treatment is composite veneers. Sometimes it’s orthodontics, whitening, or another approach entirely. The treatment may change, but the priority stays the same: protect healthy tooth structure whenever possible.

If fear of altering your natural teeth has kept you from exploring cosmetic dentistry, there may be more conservative options than you think.
