It's National Tooth Fairy Day! A day to celebrate one of dental care's little helpers. 🧚♀️
Q. When do children usually lose their first tooth?
A. Children lose their first tooth around the age of 6 years old.
Around age 7 is when the The American Association of Orthodontists recommends an orthodontic evaluation for your child. By that age, a child will have a mix of baby and permanent teeth, and the orthodontist will be able to recognize orthodontic problems even in their earliest stages.
