We LOVE all the treats that come with October, but we love keeping little smiles bright and cavity-free EVEN MORE!

That's why the Strong Smiles team is out this week delivering buckets of new toothbrushes to the amazing preschools we team up with each February during Children's Dental Health Month!

It's just a little reminder for the students to keep up their good brushing habits after they trick-or-treat this Halloween season!

The Strong Smiles team had an amazing time being part of Brightpath Strongsville's Touch-a-Truck & Community Fun Day event this past Saturday!

Our team was so busy sharing smiles & handing out FREE toothbrushes that we had no time to take photos!!

BUT, seeing our amazing local police and fire heroes, enjoying all the delicious food trucks, and running into so many familiar faces made it a great day!

We truly LOVE being part of such a wonderful community!

WHY floss?

Because you want to protect your child’s smile, and flossing is key to keeping their gums healthy and teeth cavity-free!

Brushing misses spots between teeth. Flossing removes hidden plaque and food that gets stuck in between teeth and reduces the risk of cavities forming.

Flossing also removes bacteria that causes inflamed, red, or bleeding gums (gingivitis) and bad breath.

WHEN do I start?

As soon as your child has two teeth that touch—and floss once a day, whenever it’s convenient!

HOW am I gonna fit flossing into our family’s busy schedule?!

Flossing doesn't have to happen only in the bathroom! Think about keeping flossers near the TV and floss for your child while they’re watching their favorite show! Or, in their bedside stand and floss while tucking them in at night. For older kids, keep flossers in the car and pass a flosser to the backseat while you’re on your way to practice!

Starting early makes flossing a normal part of your child’s routine and sets the foundation for good oral hygiene as they grow!
