Clear aligners. No attachments. Big change. ✨

This patient came to us with significant crowding and wanted a straighter, healthier smile without traditional braces.

Using Candid clear aligners, we were able to dramatically improve the alignment — without placing attachments on the teeth. In a case like this, that’s something I would typically expect to need with other aligner systems.

And we’re not quite finished. The front tooth still needs some restorative refinement, which will be the final step in bringing the smile together.

This smile transformation was completed with just two feldspathic ceramic veneers on the upper central incisors.

By adding length and refining their shape and proportions, we were able to create better central dominance and bring more balance to the entire smile—while allowing the veneers to blend naturally with the surrounding teeth.

The goal wasn’t to change her smile. It was to enhance what was already there with a conservative approach.

Cosmetic dentistry should do more than improve photos.

For this patient, clear aligners and conservative bonding helped correct years of wear, chipping, and imbalance. By improving tooth position and restoring worn edges, we were able to create a smile that looks more natural, feels more comfortable, and functions more predictably.

The transformation is easy to see.

What you can’t see is that chewing feels easier, the teeth come together more comfortably, and there’s less strain on the smile every day.

Sometimes repairing a repair isn’t the best answer.

Years of bonding repairs had left these front teeth with mismatched color, texture, and durability. Rather than continuing to patch old restorations, the patient chose a fresh start.

Using two feldspathic ceramic veneers, we replaced the aging bonded dentistry with restorations designed to blend naturally with the surrounding teeth while restoring strength, symmetry, and confidence.

One of the things I love about feldspathic porcelain is its ability to mimic natural enamel—creating lifelike depth, translucency, and light reflection that can be difficult to achieve with repeated repairs.

Most people see straighter teeth.

What I see is what happens when disease is diagnosed, treated, and managed through a comprehensive approach.

This patient presented with significant crowding, periodontal disease, and multiple areas of decay. The goal wasn’t simply to improve the appearance of the smile, it was to improve oral health and create a foundation for longterm success.

Treatment began with deep cleanings performed by our wonderful hygienist, Jeanette McKinnon, along with decay control to establish health and confidence.
