Sometimes that means a little extra encouragement. Sometimes it means taking things slowly. And sometimes it means having Mom or Dad hop right into the chair with them—and that’s perfectly okay. 😊

Even with the best intentions, a few small habits can make brushing less effective! Some of the most common ones we see are:

🦷 Not brushing for the full 2 minutes
🦷 Using too much toothpaste
🦷 Brushing too hard
🦷 Skipping the gumline or those tricky back teeth
🦷 Letting little ones brush completely on their own too soon

Kids are still developing the coordination they need for a thorough brush, so a little help and supervision can go a long way. ✨

Here are a few simple guidelines:
🦷 Replace toothbrushes every 3–4 months
🦷 Replace them sooner if the bristles are frayed or bent
🦷 Always use a new toothbrush after your child has been sick
