Clinicians- Has your lab ever told you that you can’t bridge a physiologically mobil natural tooth prep & a fixed implant?
This could be due to a lack of lab education, improper implant placement, uninvolved treatment planning, etc.
The case featured includes a custom titanium abutment designed in-house by an implant specialist with the final restorations considered.
Non-Rigid connectors were utilized in PFM restorations frequently. Zirconia is a great “new-age” material for these types of restorations. Combined with the accuracy of our digital capabilities the precision fit is unmatched.
The proven BruxZir zirconia restorations include male attachments on both mesial & distal of the implant restoration with female attachments on both pontics. When seated the patient will notice no discrepancies between a non-rigid connector bridge and a full contour bridge.
Non-Rigid connectors compensate for un-even stress distribution and protect the implant from torque effects.
The photos include a diagram of stress distribution relative to restoration type and location of non-rigid connector type & placement.
