Another fabulous Friday with an outing! I’m off w/ & for lunch and a much anticipated visit to This week started out rainy but the weather improved and today looks lovely. Between chats and IG stories I’ve been outside - setting up patio furniture, w**ding, pruning and planting! Hoping the deer don’t mistake my Morning Glory, Honeysuckle or Mandevilla for salad! I’ll be back outside tomorrow and Sunday ticking things off our very long ToDo List. Cheers to the weekend 🥂!

Early morning sunlight and peonies friends! Happy Thursday - school drop off is done and I’ve grabbed my gardening bag, debris bucket and I’m about to prune and w**d. This gardening stuff sure takes a lot of energy and time! 😆🌷🌳🌸

Hoping your day is awesome! Oh and I’m thrilled is opening tomorrow. I can’t wait to visit - regardless of what the blooms will be like because of the late frost. I’ll pay to walk around on their beautiful farm and hopefully bring a bunch of peonies home. If you’re within an hour or more - soooo worth the drive! It’s an equisite site!

Its Friday Yay! I’m so excited - this weekend I’m off on an adventure - a historic home tour on Long Beach Island 🏡 I can’t wait! This week has been incredible - Mother’s Day spent with family - was so fun. Did you see my stories from Monday? I was in NYC to meet my dear friend Patricia from Florida we had bruch it was terrific to spend time together! Wednesday evening I moderated Book Club and we discussed Mona’s Eyes. Of 9 people - 3 thumbs up / 4 thumbs down and 2 in the middle. I was a thumb in the middle - I loved the art history friends but didn’t enjoy the other aspects of the book. The week has been filled with organizing, cleaning and w**ding. Cheers to the weekend friends!🥂

I feel a bit dazed that it’s Friday - the week has been go go go with much fun! An afternoon of thrifting, a morning out strolling and shopping, two luncheons and two dinners - ha! Sandwich in the regular Chalet bits - cleaning, cooking and laundry. Today there’s a Freshman Lacrosse game and Sunday we’ll be with family! Can’t wait! How is it Friday?!? This week was a whirlwind of appointments - Dr, Haircut, Car Service. Unfortunately my son came down with a bad cold and missed school! Our new garage door was installed yesterday! We think the old one was at least from the 1950’s if not older and golly what an improvement! This weekend will be another spent ticking things off my ever present list 📝 but today friends I’m headed to NYC w/ to visit and for a yummy dinner! Cheers to the weekend friends!🥂

And we’re back - to a normal schedule - my son was at school all week (still no sports) and I was able to spend time on client and blog work. We’re thoroughly enjoying some warmer weather and our Cherry Blossom🌸. My hubby and I are starting to tackle a long list of outdoor projects - we ordered a new garage door and I’m super excited for our garage to gain some much needed curb appeal. Spring/Summer 2026 is going to be a busy one around the Chalet. This weekend will be rainy so I’ll be in the basement organizing and purging - always ticking things off my ever present list 📝 Cheers to the weekend friends!🥂

Wow this week was and continues to find me focused on my son. He had Oral Surgery Wednesday - so I was in gearing up mode and since I’ve been in nursing mode… meds, compresses, restricted diet! The bright spot in all this - is it’s finally done - we’ve known for ages he needed this and I tried to have it when it would minimally impact him. Well I tried at least! He can’t play Lacrosse or Hockey until the end of the month - because he can’t put a mouthguard in 😬! What else did I do this week?!? I read another book - 16 so far this year! My sister popped by the Chalet to hang with my son while I ran to church and moderated bookclub discussing The Correspondent and Theo of Golden - yes both are incredible and the hype is well deserved! For next month we’re reading Mona’s Eyes. Yesterday I cut Arkle daffodils from my garden! Heavenly scent! Today my niece is popping by to see the patient - I can’t wait to see her! Cheers to the weekend friends!🥂
