Happy belated birthday to our very own Dr. Green! 🎂✨

Last week we got to take a little break from growing healthy smiles and supporting healthy airways to celebrate someone who pours so much heart, knowledge, and care into every patient and every team member. We’re so grateful for your leadership, your passion for airway focused care, and the way you continue to make such a meaningful impact on the families we serve.

Help us wish Dr. Green the happiest birthday! 🥳💚💖

A small step toward better breathing habits 🌬️

MyoTape can be a gentle way to help kids start becoming more aware of nasal breathing during the day. Starting with short periods, like 30 minutes while they’re playing, reading, coloring, or doing an activity, can help make the process feel easy, positive, and routine. Nasal breathing plays an important role in sleep quality, concentration, airway development, oral health, and overall growth. The goal is not perfection overnight, but helping little ones build healthy breathing patterns one small step at a time 😄

At The Center for Airway & Facial Development, Dr. Bowman leads with a whole child approach to growth, breathing, and facial development 😀

Her focus goes beyond straight teeth. She looks at how the airway, jaws, tongue posture, and facial growth all work together to support better breathing, better sleep, and healthier development. Because we know… every appliance, every visit, and every detail is part of a bigger picture:
helping children grow, function, and thrive 💚

The Center for Airway & Facial Development is a place where you can experience care designed with your child’s whole future in mind 😀🤗

We believe healthy airways support healthy minds, better sleep, improved focus, balanced growth, and overall wellness. For many children, signs like mouth breathing, restless sleep, snoring, behavioral struggles, trouble focusing, or crowded teeth may be connected to how they breathe and develop.

Our goal is to help parents better understand what’s going on beneath the surface and create a path forward that supports your child’s growth, confidence, and quality of life. Because when children can breathe better, they can sleep better, feel better, and thrive better✨

We’re often told crowded teeth just mean braces later…
But in many cases, crowding is one of the first signs that a child’s airway and jaw aren’t developing properly.

Kids are screened for hearing and vision because we understand how essential those senses are.
But their airway? Almost never checked.
Even though the ADA + AAPD recommend airway screenings as part of routine dental care.

That means most children with airway dysfunction go unnoticed—simply because no one is looking.

Snoring, teeth grinding, mouth breathing, restless sleep, behavior challenges, and crowded teeth may seem unrelated…
But together, they paint a powerful picture of how a child is breathing—and growing.

✨ Early detection leads to better growth, better sleep, and better long-term health. ✨

At The Center for Airway & Facial Development, we specialize in identifying these concerns early and guiding proper development—not just straight teeth.

📞 Schedule an Airway Growth Screening today.
Give your child the space they need to breathe, sleep, and thrive! 302-239-7233
